JSA All-Stars is a collection of stories that are vignettes about one of the characters in the Justice Society of American per issue. While there are a few interesting points, this is generally pretty mundane stuff and nothing you need to seek out/5(7).
This trade, JSA ALL-STARS: CONSTELLATIONS, collects the first six issues of this JUSTICE SOCIETY OF AMERICA spin-off. For now, I'm on board. It all hinges on the Magog factor. "Constellations" feels a bit like one of those teen flicks in which the /5(7).
Reviewed in the United States on July 3, The JSA All Stars were a spinoff of the iconic JSA which was simply getting too many members. The All Stars lasted less than two years before DC pulled the plug on them and this collection of comics shows you why.
If these are the "Glory Days" of the JSA allstars book Stars, no wonder the series crashed and burned/5(5). JSA All-Stars came out at a time right before Geoff JSA allstars book became DC's golden boy, and he, along with David Goyer had made the JSA a fan and critical favorite.
Goyer eventually moved on, and Johns continued writing JSA for a few more years solo, along with roughly half of DC's output/5. JSA All-Stars was a spin off of the Justice Society of America book before the New 52 relaunch. It was basically the younger members, those who were bumping up against the older generation with their attitudes and views on fighting crime.
